The Essentials of Project Management
This "quick start" workshop condenses information about project management into its essentials components. The topics in this one-day workshop include assessing when to use project management techniques, project management planning skills, how to create a work breakdown structure, Gantt, and PERT chart, techniques for controlling schedules, allocating resources, and keeping projects "on track." Participants will also learn the Critical Path Method technique to plan and control projects. An optional component includes a one-day workshop on Microsoft Project software.
